What we do with your details.
What the forms on this site collect, why we have it, how long we keep it, who else sees it, and how to ask us to delete it. Last updated 25 October 2026.
We only hold what you send us, and only to reply to you.
WebGħalKulħadd is run by a small team in Malta. We're the data controller for anything you send through this site. Questions go to webghalkulhadd@gmail.com.
What the forms collect
The contact and order forms collect your name, your business name, your town or area, your phone or WhatsApp number, your email, any links you give us, and whatever you type in the message box. Nothing else is required.
Why we have it
To reply to you, to prepare the presence check or the homepage preview you asked for, and to quote and carry out work if you decide to go ahead. We don't sell it and we don't add you to a mailing list you didn't ask for.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't turn into work are deleted within 6 months. If you become a client, we keep what we need for the work and for our accounts, as Maltese law requires.
Who else sees it
Only our team, plus the services that carry the message: Hostinger, which hosts this site and sends your enquiry to us by email, and Gmail, where we read it. A backup copy of each enquiry is kept in a private folder on our hosting, which nobody can open from the web, and deleted after 6 months. To stop spam, the site briefly remembers a scrambled version of your connection's address for 24 hours; your real IP address is never stored. If you accept cookies, Google also receives the visit statistics described under “Cookies and measurement”. Nobody buys or receives your details for their own use.
Cookies and measurement
The site asks before it measures anything. If you click Accept on the cookie banner, the site loads Google Analytics, run by Google Ireland Ltd. Until you accept, Google Analytics isn't loaded at all; decline and nothing is set.
Accepting sets two Google Analytics cookies, _ga and _ga_…, which last up to 2 years. They tell us which pages get read, where visitors came from, and which buttons and forms get used. We see totals, not who you are, and Google Analytics doesn't store your IP address. Google may process this data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We keep analytics data for 14 months, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't share it with anyone else. We use it because you agreed to it, and you can take that back at any time: click Cookie settings (also at the bottom of every page) and choose Decline.
To test which version of the homepage works better, your browser also remembers which version you were shown. That note stays on your device and holds nothing about you; we only count totals. If you arrive from one of our posts, ads or our Google profile, the site also notes which one, so we know which of them work; that note only travels with an enquiry you choose to send.
Your rights, and deleting your data
Under the GDPR and Maltese data protection law you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email webghalkulhadd@gmail.com or message +356 9938 3005 and we'll do it. If you're not happy with how we handled it, you can complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta.
Terms
Quotes are valid for the scope written in them. The free presence check and the free homepage preview carry no obligation: you see the preview before you pay anything, and you're free to walk away. The free homepage preview remains ours unless you go ahead with us. Work starts once you accept a quote in writing. Payment terms are written into your quote. Your domain is always registered in your name, and by default we hand the finished site over to you in full. The care plan is optional: €30 a month for hosting, backups, security updates and edits. Monthly marketing is quoted separately. Both run month to month and can be stopped at any time, and if you leave the care plan we hand over the files.
